I never asked him to come. That was the nice thing about Al, he was ever the volunteer. He gave solid reasons for it at first; “You can’t convince a kath hound to attack without using the Force, the more Jedi aiding the Republic the better.”
Evenutally he got to the real reason. “I want to go with you. We make a good team.”
All of it true. I didn’t want anyone else at my back while we went to war. Besides, he would’ve been lost in the Temple without me to hold his hand. No sense of direction.
And so we went to war. I don’t care what the stories say, I don’t care how they praised us when we returned. I love violence, but war…war is something terrible. Calculated slaughter, both pointless and purposeful, that leaves no survivors. Only casualties of varying degrees.
I don’t know why I started looking for the Star Forge. Maybe the memory will come back to me eventually, same as these ones. I just remember that I didn’t have to ask Al to come. He was right there with me, from the very start.
Sometimes I wonder if I should regret that, if the weight of his fall lies on his own shoulders or mine. Maybe it’s both, and my fall weighs equally too. I like the sound of that, for some reason.
I’m kinda hungry but whenever I think about food I’m hit with a sudden wave of nausea :{

Aw yeah, so I decided to make bracelets that look like this? I was originally just going to combine all the bottles into two bracelets but I think this looks neater.
I’ll end up using a different looking chain, but the result would look the same; four charms for every bracelet, two colored bottles and two zodiac signs.
I still need to get the materials and stuff to do them, but if you’re potentially interested send me a message with your email and what color bottles and zodiac symbols you want and I’ll keep you on a list.
They’ll probably cost between $12 and $15 plus a couple of dollars for shipping.
